Please give them your support!

I am doing the Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run again between 3rd – 5th October 2025, 2000 miles in 48 hours, Knebworth, John o’Groats, Lands End, and back to Knebworth - info for this can be found on https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/rbrr/

I have done it 3 times before - but the last time it was in 2004 so I’m 21 years older now! my co-drivers are Roland Drew, who I’ve known for about 40 years, and met through the TSSC, and Conan Lewis who we met through the Standard Motor Club as he also has a 1925 Standard Kenilworth, the same model as our Doris. Thankfully though, we're not planning to do the run in Doris!

Roland & I had bought a Triumph 2000 a few months ago, it was within budget and had been fitted with a 2.5l engine so ideal for our purposes. Unfortunately, that car has turned out to need a lot of welding and a great deal of other work, and it became clear that it would not be completed in time.

Plan B was to take my white Bond Equipe 2+2 but that would only allow for one co-driver, and probably a less comfortable or speedy run.

So, on to Plan C and we bought a Dolomite 1850 auto - the rationale being that, even though it may not be the ideal car for the event, it would be more comfortable than the 2+2, allow for 3 co-drivers, and this would be a car Suzie can also use and enjoy thereafter.

We would be very grateful for any and all support for this by the way of sponsorship. This year the chosen charity is Parkinson's UK, my grandmother suffered from Parkinson's, so this is a Charity close to my heart.
