The Redbourn Classics Motor Show takes place with the Village Fete on the expansive green of Redbourn Common, Hertfordshire. The event is well organised and well attended by enthusiastic locals, as the photo shows!
In addition to Classic Cars and a fairground, there is live music, craft and charity stalls, a ride-on model railway and a beer tent. Everything the family needs for a summer afternoon’s entertainment.
Standards will meet on a local car park so they can drive in and be parked together.

Lovely to see the Classic Motor Show is back again — the Redbourn Common setting with the fairground and beer tent sounds like the perfect way to round off August. I remember taking my old Mk2 Cortina to a similar local show last year, and the organisers really do make an effort to keep things family-friendly. Speaking of fiddly old car tech, this reminds me that I recently used a mouse scroll test onlione to check why my laptop wheel was jumping around while trying to browse photos from the event — turns out it was just dust, not the car's wiring. Might be worth a quick test for anyone else who does their classic car research on a dodgy…
I tutor first graders who are struggling readers and the sight word search lets me lock in Dolch lists by grade, saves me typing 50 words every week.
Wish I could save word lists across sessions but pasting from a notes doc works fine for now.
