Updated: Apr 1, 2024

Peter Lockey, writes:

Jointly with Dave Dunkley of the Coventry Group of the TR Register, Paul Newsome and I have arranged for us to visit the

Rootes Archive Centre,

15 Apollo Office Park,

Ironstone Lane ,

Wroxton,

Near Banbury ,

OX15 6AY

on Sunday 7th April at 11 a.m

The cost has not yet been finalised but will be under £10 and probably nearer £5 payable on the day. This does not include the price of lunch.

We are meeting at the Old Mill Hill, Baginton CV8 3AH and aiming to depart at 10 a.m. prompt for a roadrun to the Archive Centre.

The visit is likely to last about 2 hours.

Afterwards, lunch is proposed at Gilks Garage Cafe, Banbury Road, Kineton CV35 0JZ.

You don't have to do the roadrun or the lunch but it would be good if you could come in your Standard, Triumph or other classic if your Standard is not on the road.

If you are interested please let me know the following:-

1.Whether you will be visiting the Archive Centre.

2.Whether you will be joining the roadrun from the Old Mill

3.Whether you wish to join the lunch afterwards.

Please respond as soon as you are able.
