Scottish Group Picnic report

Sunday the 30th of August was the day of the Scottish group annual picnic. After many weeks of glorious weather the rain came in the form of a monsoon.
The venue this year took part at the heritage railway at Leven in Fife.
We were short of a few members this year, however, this didn't dampen our spirits as we were given access to the workshops and managed a ride on the train along with a history of the railway in northeast Fife.
The weather didn't allow the usual barbecue, instead, we used the railway cafe where there was tea, coffee and amazing home baking.
After thanking the railway staff for their generosity, we parted company.
The next outing is at Farming Yesterday at Scone Palace. (Link below)
