This month we feature another member of Standard’s management. Who is he and can you tell me some of the cars he was involved in?

Please send your entry to me by 31st December and the winner will receive:

a copy of John Davy’s book of “The Standard Car, 1903-1963

Please send your entries by email to phil.homer@btinternet.com

The answer will be given in January, along with the winner’s name.

Thank you for supporting the Club that supports the Cars we drive.

Commenting has been turned off to avoid anyone spoiling the answer for others.

Good luck to all entrants!

Result of the December SMC Prize Competition

The car shown was a Standard Little 12 from 1933. This six-cylinder car was only produced for one season. The car is the same from the A-posts backwards as the 4 cylinder Little 9, but obviously has a longer bonnet.

The winner was Jonathan Williams, Member 7690 from Suffolk. His prize will be in the post very shortly. Thank you to everyone that entered the Competition.

SEND US YOUR CARS STORY

Don’t be shy – why not tell us the story behind YOUR Standard and include some Photos? Please fill in this form HERE.

The feature will be preserved here forever.
