Our November 2025 Competition

This month we feature another Standard Car in our Competition.

Here are a group of ladies giving a car a good roadtest.

Please tell me the Model and year it was built.

Please send your entry to me by 30th November and the winner will receive:

a copy of John Davy’s book of “The Standard Car, 1903-1963”

The answer will be given in December, along with the winner’s name.

Result of the October SMC Prize Competition

The Manager shown was Alick Dick, Managing Director from 1954 to 1962.

The winner was John Adder, Member 8251, who found a photo of the MD inside the cover of his Standard 8 Service Instruction Manual.
