The "Fergy" Monument in Dublin

On a visit to Ireland’s fair City a good number of years ago, I came across, and photo graphed this “art installation” which had been erected in a square close to the Temple Bar area.

Its 4 complete Standard-built Ferguson Tractors on top of each other.

There was no explanation as to why it was there and as you can see it was fenced off, probably to prevent children using it as a rather dangerous climbing frame.

It seemed to be pretty unloved - and I wonder if it is still there?

Standard built over half a million “Little Grey Fergys” at its Banner Lane plant.
