Standard 20 - Can do plenty!

Well, perhaps not this one!

These are a few pictures of what was called the Standard 20 here in India  The grey junked truck has since been scrapped. The light green van is still sitting in a garage, its the early model with covered front wheels.

Also, some pics of the later models, sent to me by Shyam.

The early model appears to be identical to the Leyland 20, which was the development of the Standard Atlas after the Leyland takeover. Obviously, Standard had the rights to build it in India

Here are the later Standard 20's which seem to bear no relation to the earlier Standard designed product. The first seems to have some brake problems, whilst the 2nd is still plying a useful trade. You can just make out the Blue and White "Standard" openbook logo on both of these:
