Flying Standards in India.

Hi Phil
Here's a Flying 8 saloon spotted
by my friend Edward in Bombay. He says its languishing in some
garage, and belongs to some corporation. The car bears a re-registration
in Goa (GDE) dating to the 70s. I wonder if it is the
same car my aunt used to drive ;-)
Also, I was just sent this
picture of a yellow Standard in Cochin in South India. It is
part of a large collection, but is the only Standard. Do
identify the exact model for me.

Hi Karl
The two door Eight under the pile of
rags could be pre or postwar, can't see the bonnet sides to
confirm.
The four door yellow car is a
1938/39 Flying 10 because the 8 and 9 were both two door cars.
Note blade bumpers and bonnet side louvres, indicating a prewar
car.
