"International Celebration of 120 years of the Standard Motor Company"

This year’s Rally will be centred on the attractive “Mercure” Daventry Court Hotel, on the Warwickshire - Northamptonshire border.

 

This modern hotel is set in extensive grounds that we will use for the Sunday Static Rally. It’s very close to Daventry Country Park. Very centrally located, the hotel has all the amenities you would expect of a 4-star venue, including private dining, fitness suite and indoor swimming-pool. It can be approached from all over the country using good A-roads such as the A5, A45 and A46, without the need to use the Motorway network, a bonus if you wish to attend in a Pre-war Classic Car.

 

A number of non-strenuous rural roadruns from the site will be arranged over this mid-summer weekend

 

The hospitality industry has in general suffered rapid price inflation in recent months and years, so in these very worrying financial times, the Club has been able to secure very special room-rates. In fact, the 2023 prices will be no more than we paid in 2019, that is fully 4 years ago.

If you came in 2022, you will already know how brilliant this event was. If you have not been before, make a promise to yourself that you will attend, make a note in your diaries of 23rd – 25th June 2023 and come back here in January when you will be able to book the hotel directly and enter, online, or on paper entry forms. The cost is from just £10 including VAT.

The Club hopes that as many as possible will make the effort to attend its biggest event of 2023.
