This will be the biggest get-together of Standards in 2025
For our 2025 Standard International Rally we're making a return visit to the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel in Northamptonshire, over the weekend of June 13th - 15th.
This is where we had such a successful Rally in 2023. It’s a four-star hotel in its own extensive grounds, with Spa and Pool. It’s almost in the centre of the Country, making it accessible by A-roads from North, South, East and West without the use of Motorways. The Club’s buying power means that we have negotiated the most favourable group rates for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, and we hope you will all consider this as an opportunity to make a holiday of the Weekend. There are over 150 rooms available. However, if you prefer, there is absolutely no compulsion to stay in the hotel. If you wish, you can join us just for the day, in which case come either Saturday for the Roadruns or Sunday for the Static Rally on the lawns of the hotel. The whole weekend costs just £10 per car to enter, a cost we have managed to keep the same for longer than we can remember.
We'll meet as usual on Friday afternoon for the first of our special visits, followed by a road run to Daventry Court. Our day concludes with an informal buffet dinner. Saturday sees our main road run with more visits arranged. More details of the venues will be introduced in due course. On the Saturday evening, we'll have our event dinner at the hotel with a table quiz and hopefully a guest speaker.
On Sunday morning, we'll gather on the Hotel’s lawns that become our Rally field for the day - and enjoy a day of making new friends, meeting old friends, comparing and contrasting our Standards, buying and selling spares - and so much more, including prizes!
You don’t even need to bring a Standard: if your car isn’t ready, or will never be ready, come in your modern car (its free to park it).
We are opening bookings early this time, on November 1st 2024

Footnote: Dogs (pets) are catered for @£20 per stay, allowed in bedrooms and public areas but not in the restaurant, bar and function room. Pet Waiver signature required.
