Classic Motor Show November 7th – 9th 2025

As usual the Club has a four car stand at the NEC November Show.

Hopefully by then, Shaun Russell will have finished the restoration of his 6 cwt. Ten van as he did a few years ago with his 1957 Companion, both of which featured as wrecks at the previous NEC Restoration Show.

As a contrast, my Eight will feature alongside the van as it did at the March Restoration Show and will also be bringing in the Stand furniture.

Pre-War cars will be represented by Terry and Lynn Oxley's 1937 Flying Light 12 which should have been present at the March Restoration Show but failed to make it. An old favourite from Shows long ago will make a welcome return to the Show, the 1953 Vanguard Phase Two saloon restored to its original metallic green from a wreck found at a bombsite car dealer in the 1970s and owned for many years by Club stalwart and former NEC Stand organiser Brian Birch. After many years out of the public eye, this fine car is now in the capable hands of West Midlands Club member Nigel Woodward-Sheath where it shares a home with Nigel's older but mechanically similar Phase 1 Beetleback saloon.

I've attached photos of all the cars.
