Standard Triumph Picnic 2023

On the warmest day of the year, so far, everyone had a great time at the Standard-Triumph Picnic, celebrating the 100th birthday of the Triumph Marque.

Gathered on the lawns outside the Walton Hall Hotel, the fifth running of this annual event was a huge success - with a massive turnout of Triumph cars, and even a good few Standards.

As the event was sponsored by all the Clubs that are part of the Standard-Triumph Forum, it was free for all to attend. The organisers were the Pre-1940 Triumph Club, whose National Rally it coincided with, and consequently, this must have been the largest gathering of Pre-war Triumphs for a good number of years. And spectacular they all looked in the bright sunshine.

I have captured most of the Standards that attended below.

A great big thank you to all that made the effort to attend.

We look forward to seeing even more of you at Coventry Motorfest on 3rd/4th June, Silverstone on 10th/11th June and, most importantly, at the Daventry Court Hotel on 23rd-25th June for the Standard International Rally. See the Events listings here:
